Commitment to Non-Discrimination and Equal Access to Care

Pivotal Health does not discriminate and complies with all applicable anti-discrimination and equal protection laws.

This means that we do not discriminate against, exclude or treat differently any individual based on his or her race, color, national origin, disability, religion, marital status, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender expression, gender identity, age, or status in any other legally protected class.

Delivery of Medical Services to Seniors and the Disabled

Further, Pivotal Health is committed to ensuring equitable and non-discriminatory access to medical care by accommodating the needs of seniors and people with disabilities, as defined in the Americans with Disabilities Act, as amended (the “ADA”).

Because Pivotal Health provides mobile medical services at patient-specified locations, there is no medical office or other facility open to the public.  This care delivery model improves access to care for all, including seniors and the disabled, by alleviating the need for the patient to arrange for transportation or confirm adequate access and/or accommodations at the location that the care is delivered.

Pivotal Health works with its patients and/or patient representatives to identify available, commercially reasonable accommodations that could improve the patient’s access to care and/or quality of care. Where possible, Pivotal Health will provide (or will partner with third-party organizations to provide) accommodations including, but not limited to:

  • Qualified sign language interpreters
  • Qualified interpreters for patients whose primary language is not English
  • Print materials, such as practice brochures, in alternative formats and/or languages
  • Other needed accommodations

If you anticipate needing these services or any other accommodation, please contact us at info@pivotalhealth.care or call us at 1-888-688-4746.
